Tina the Musical starring Adrienne Warren as the titular rock'n'roll legend, will extend its run in the West End until February 2019.

The piece, directed by Phyllida Lloyd with book by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, follows the life of Turner from her childhood through to her ascension to superstar status. You can see Warren in action as Tina in a clip of the show below.

In her review for WhatsOnStage, critic Sarah Crompton said: "Rather like the woman herself, the steamroller that is Tina flattens you into submission."

Alongside Warren in the production is Kobna Holdbrook-Smith as Ike Turner, Madeline Appiah as Tina's mother Zelma Bullock, Jenny Fitzpatrick as the alternate Tina, Lorna Gayle as Tina's grandmother GG and Tom Godwin as record producer Phil Spector and lyricist Terry Britten.

The show has choreography by Anthony van Laast, with set and costume designs by Mark Thompson, musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Nevin Steinberg, projection design by Jeff Sugg and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.
