William Gaminara's comedy Three Lions, which premiered at last year's Edinburgh Fringe, will visit the St James Theatre next year following a short UK tour.

The play imagines what really went on between David Cameron, David Beckham and Prince William in a Swiss hotel the night before England's bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The cast features Dugald Bruce-Lockhart (Wonderland, Hampstead) as Cameron, Tom Davey (Waterbabies, Leicester) as William and Sean Browne (The Shape of Things, Arcola) as Beckham, all of whom were in the original production.

Directed by Philip Wilson, Three Lions begins its tour at Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford (2-7 March 2015), before travelling to the New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich (9-14 March 2015) and Liverpool Playhouse (16-21 March), ahead of a six week run at St James Theatre from 26 March (previews from 24 March).
