Shane Richie to join cast for world premiere of Not Dead Enough

The ”EastEnders” actor will join Laura Whitmore on the UK tour

Shane Richie has been cast as Roy Grace in the world premiere of Peter James' Not Dead Enough.

The play is a murder mystery about Brian Bishop, who claims he was sixty miles away in bed the night his wife was murdered. Superintendent Grace is sent to investigate the killing.

Richie will join the previously announced Laura Whitmore on the tour in Dartford, Milton Keynes, Woking, Brighton, Malvern, Bristol, Southampton, Richmond, Newcastle, Coventry, Glasgow, and Canterbury.

The production will also tour to Dublin, Edinburgh, Northampton, Shrewsbury, Cambridge, Manchester, Bromley, Cardiff and Worthing.

Richie played Alfie Moon in EastEnders, and appeared alongside on-screen wife Jessie Wallace earlier this year in The Perfect Murder.

Not Dead Enough is based on the the novel published in 2007 as part of James' Roy Grace series. Two other plays from the series have been made into stage productions: The Perfect Murder and Dead Simple.

Not Dead Enough will open at the Orchard Theatre, Dartford on 25 January 2017 before embarking on a UK tour.
