School of Rock extends in the West End

A brand new line-up of kids will be welcomed to the show at the New London Theatre

Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock is to extend its run in London.

The production will now run to 13 January 2019 in London, while on Broadway it continues to play into its second year.

The show also announces a new cast of kids who make up the rock band and will join the show on 26 August 2017. There are three teams of thirteen children in the cast. The new actors are:

Jacob Swann, Annabel Gracey and Siam Elvidge who play Freddy; Santiago Cerchione, Phoenix Taylor and Jack Goodacre who will play Zack; Eliza Cowdery, Imogen Bowden and Audrey Newman who play Katie; Cole Lam, Milano Preston and Johnny Evans-Hutchison who play Lawrence; Joseph Black, Harry Vallance and Archie Lewis who play Billy; Aaliyah Monk, Stella Haden and Caoimhe Judd will play Summer.

In addition, Tia Figgett, Jasmine Sakyiama and Nerys Obeng will play Tomika; Nathan Reeve, Stanley Jarvis and Josh White will play James; Alex Stuckey, Charlie Vyacheslavov and Dylan Miles-Davis will play Matthew; Ellie Wilcox, Romanie Jija-Wakeham and Grace Wood who play Marcy; Cody Molko, Austin Kindler and Nicolas Ong who play Mason; Saffron Pennycooke, Aaylia Rose and Miami Holness will play Shonelle; Teri Ofon, Navaeah Hoath and Darcy Dennis will play Sophie.

The adult cast include Gary Trainor as Dewey Finn, Florence Andrews as Rosalie Mullins, Preeya Kalidas as Patty Di Marco and Oliver Jackson as Ned Scheebly.

New auditions for the roles of the kids are being held in 22 November. Producers are looking for children aged between 8 and 12 years old who play the drums, keys, or electric or bass guitar.

School of Rock – The Musical runs at the New London Theatre until 13 January 2019.
