Robin Pearce cast in Donmar Warehouse's The Way of the World following death of actor Alex Beckett

Robin Pearce will take over the role of Waitwell in the current Donmar Warehouse production of The Way of the World, the venue has announced today.
Pearce steps into the role following the death of actor Alex Beckett, whose passing was announced on 12 April.
Performances of The Way of the World will recommence today, Tuesday 17 April, with Robin Pearce in the role of Waitwell.

The venue has also announced that performances will recommence today, and continue until the end of the show's run on 26 May.
Pearce's credits include the Chichester Festival Theatre production of The Way of the World, in which he played the same role of Waitwell, as well as Colin in People at the National Theatre.
