The Play That Goes Wrong announces new West End cast and extension

A new cast and booking period has been announced for Mischief Theatre's The Play That Goes Wrong.

The show, which runs at the Duchess Theatre, will now extend until 7 April 2019. The new cast will take over from 28 March 2018 and includes Katie Bernstein as Annie, Jason Callender as Jonathan, Edward Judge as Robert, Alastair Kirton as Max, Edward Howells as Dennis, Meg Mortell as Sandra, Graeme Rooney as Trevor and Patrick Warner as Chris. The new cast ran in the recent UK tour of the show.

The company are completed by Natasha Culley, Matthew Howell, Helana Muir and James Watterson.

The Play That Goes Wrong won the 2014 WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Comedy as well as an Olivier Award and Tony Award. It now runs in over twelve countries.

Co-written by Mischief Theatre members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields – also the team behind Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery – the play introduces the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society as they attempt to mount a murder mystery play.
The show is currently on a UK tour.

The Play That Goes Wrong runs at the Duchess Theatre until 7 April 2019.
