Photos: Patrick Stewart, Lesley Manville and Stephen Mangan celebrate success of King Charles III

The Almeida Theatre supporters were at a dinner with artistic director Rupert Goold

Almeida supporters including Patrick Stewart, Ben Whishaw and Lesley Manville were among the stars celebrating the recent success of Mike Bartlett‘s play King Charles III at a "very English dinner" with Almeida artistic director Rupert Goold, Tim Pigott-Smith and other members of the cast.

Hosted by Richard Durden, the evening included entertainment, a three course meal and auction to raise funds to support the Almeida. Ben Whishaw performed an extract from The Bakkhai and Lesley Manville performed a monologue from Richard II.
