Peter Andre to star in Grease UK tour

Singer Peter Andre is to star as Teen Angel in the upcoming UK tour of Grease.
The new musical production opens on 19 June at Leeds Grand Theatre before heading out on a tour. Andre will appear at certain performances in Leeds, Southend, Sunderland, Birmingham, Leicester, Dublin, Oxford and Bromley.
After opening at Leeds, the show will then play at Southend, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leicester, Dublin, Oxford and ending in Bromley in October 2019.
Andre is know for music hits including "Mysterious Girl" and "I Feel You" and his reality TV show Peter Andre: My Life.
Curve artistic director Nikolai Foster directs the returning show, which is Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey's classic musical featuring songs including "Hopelessly Devoted", "Greased Lightnin'" and "You're the One that I Want". The Curve's production originally opened in 2016.
The 1978 film adaptation starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. This production is choreographed by Arlene Phillips, with designs from Colin Richmond and lighting from Guy Hoare.
Further casting is yet to be announced.
