First look at Tamzin Outhwaite, Jenna Russell and Samantha Spiro in Di and Viv and Rose

The Hampstead Theatre production transfers to the West End later this month

The first image has been released showing the cast of Di and Viv and Rose ahead of the show's West End transfer.

Hampstead Theatre’s critically acclaimed production, will open at the Vaudeville Theatre on 29 January 2015 with previews from 22 January. Anna Mackmin returns to direct Amelia Bullmore‘s exploration of friendship’s impact on life and living. Tamzin Outhwaite reprises her role as Di and will be joined by Samantha Spiro as Viv and Jenna Russell as Rose.

Aged eighteen, three women join forces at university. Life is fun. Life is intense. Together they feel unbeatable. As Di and Viv and Rose grow up, chance and choice put their closeness to the test. They must thrash out how to work, how to love, how to live.

Di and Viv and Rose is Amelia and Anna’s sixth production together. Anna has directed all of Amelia’s writing for the stage to date, including the award winning Mammals and a new version of Ibsen’s Ghosts at the Gate Theatre.

Outhwaite's most recent stage appearance was in Breeders (St James), her other stage credits include Sweet Charity (Haymarket and Menier Chocolate Factory), Boeing Boeing (Comedy) and Oliver (London Palladium).

Spiro's theatre work includes Kafka’s Dick (Theatre Royal Bath), Macbeth, The Taming of the Shrew (Globe), and Chicken Soup with Barley (Royal Court – WhatsOnStage Award nomination for Best Actress)

Russell has recently left the cast of Urinetown (St James and Apollo Theatre), her other theatre credits include Mr Burns (Almeida), Merrily We Roll Along (Menier Chocolate Factory and Harold Pinter), Into the Woods (Regent’s Park Open Air), Guys and Dolls (Piccadilly) and Sunday in the Park with George (Menier and Roundabout, New York).
