Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 25 June 2013 (Previews from 22 May)Douglas Hodge stars as Willy Wonka in Sam Mendes’ production of this new musical based on Roald Dahl’s novel. Currently booking until 28 November, it runs at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Peter Ustinov’s 1951 play is about the mechanics of toppling governments, the pretences of war and the power of propaganda. It runs at Southwark Playhouse until 20 July 2013.
