Martin Kemp is making his West End debut this week as the devious Billy Flynn in Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre, taking over the role from Cuba Gooding Jr.

It was announced last week that Kemp will be joined by Mazz Murray as Mama Morton in the show, alongside Sarah Soetaert, Josefina Gabrielle and Paul Rider as Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly and Amos Hart respectively.

The musical is Kander and Ebb's Tony Award-winning show about a young woman, Roxie, who is incarcerated and put on trial for murdering a man in her bedroom. The recent run opened on 12 April this year at the Phoenix Theatre.
