New York's Marie's Crisis to pop up in London

The cult venue is arriving on these waters for a week

New York institution Marie's Crisis is to arrive in London, it has been announced.

The West Village basement showtunes piano bar will be transported to London for five nights. The venue will open at The City of Quebec pub, London's oldest LGBTQ public house, where punters will be treated to performances around the piano and singing bartenders.

Marie's Crisis is an iconic Manhattan venue which attracts fans of musical theatre with their sing-a-long nights.

The New York venue was originally built in 1839 and actors and celebrities meet to sing Broadway and Disney tunes. The City of Quebec is in Marylebone in London and has been newly refurbished. Marie's Crisis will be in the basement bar of the pub and will be open from 30 October to 3 November.
