Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Helen George (Call the Midwife) will lead the cast of Terence Rattigan's Love in Idleness, which is being revived by Trevor Nunn at the Menier Chocolate Factory in March.

The cast also includes Eve Best, who won an Olivier Award for Hedda Gabler at the Almeida Theatre and Duke of York’s, and Edward Bluemel, currently starring in ITV's World War Two drama The Halcyon.

Rattigan's play tells of an 18-year-old who returns from Canada during the war and is shocked to find his widowed mother is now the mistress of a cabinet minister.

Nunn returns to the Menier having previously directed A Little Night Music and Aspects of Love at the venue, and also directs Peter Shaffer's Lettice and Lovage from 17 May to 8 July.

Love in Idleness runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 20 March to 29 April, with previews from 9 March. Public booking opens on 1 February.
