Kerry Ellis, Maria Friedman and David Bedella shortlisted for London Cabaret Awards

The shortlists have been announced for the annual awards which celebrate the growing cabaret scene in the capital

The shortlists have been announced for the annual London Cabaret Awards with former Wicked star Kerry Ellis and multi Olivier Award-winning actress/director Maria Friedman both shortlisted for their appearances at The Pheasantry. The awards also see David Bedella & Friends nominated in the Best Ongoing Production category.

The award nominations are decided by judges including burlesque performer Jo King and theatre critic Paul Vale.

Alongside the regular awards are two categories voted for by the public; the Audience Award and the Unsung Hero Award. You can cast your votes for these categories here.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Café de Paris on Monday 9th March 2015.
