Leo Bill and Caroline Catz cast in Curtains

Lindsay Posner directs Stephen Bill’s play at the Rose Theatre Kingston

Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Curtains at Rose Theatre Kingston.

Leo Bill will play Michael, Caroline Catz will play Susan, Jonathan Coy will be Geoffrey, Tim Dutton is Douglas, Wendy Nottingham will play Margaret and Saskia Reeves will play Katherine, Sandra Voe is Ida and Marjorie Yates is Mrs Jackson.

Bill's previous credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Young Vic and Hamlet at the Barbican. Catz stars in ITV's Doc Martin and her theatre credits include Top Girls for Out of Joint and On Emotion at Soho Theatre.

Stephen Bill's play is centered around Ida, whose family is throwing her a birthday tea for her eighty-sixth birthday during which family tensions run high. The play won him the Evening Standard Award for most Promising Playwright.

Lindsay Posner directs the show, which opens in February.

Curtains runs at the Rose Theatre Kingston from 28 February to 17 March with previews from 22 February.
