In an interview with the LA Times, pop superstar Lady Gaga has revealed that she was almost in Rent.

In Amy Kaufman's interview Gaga explains how at 17 she wasn't succeeding in auditions when at NYU.

"She was almost cast on a domestic tour of Rent, but producers ultimately decided she was too young. So after just a year at NYU, she dropped out. "
