Kiss Me Quickstep revival casting announced

Casting has been announced for the upcoming revival of Kiss Me Quickstep, which opens in Hornchurch in February.

Amanda Whittington's ballroom drama will star David Birch (Matilda), Michelle Bishop (Sunset Boulevard), Adrian Klein (Memorial), Joshua Lay (Funny Girl), Abigail Middleton (Wondertown), Garry Robson (The Who's Tommy') and Vicki Lee Taylor (Carousel).

The piece will be performed on a traverse stage with actors and dancing on all sides. The cast will also feature a chorus of eight ballroom dancers.

Kiss Me Quickstep has direction by Kirstie Davis, with design by Jess Curtis, lighting design by Mark Dymock, sound design by James Cook and choreography by Lucie Pankhurst.

The show has its opening in Hornchurch on 22 February before transferring to the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich and Theatr Clwyd in Mold.
