Open auditions are being held for the new dance thriller version of Jekyll and Hyde, which will run at the Old Vic Theatre as part of new artistic director Matthew Warchus's first season.

Choreographer Drew McOnie is looking for "extraordinary, vibrant and intelligent" dancers with a minimum of three years' dance training for the production, which is billed as "sinister drama" inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Auditions will be held on Sunday 5 July 2015, with registration between 9am and 12pm, at the Glasshill Studios (King Bench Street, London, SE1 0QX).

Candidates must "excel in narrative expression", and be available for a recall on 12 July and for the show from April to June 2016.

Auditionees need to bring a current CV and headshot and be prepared to stay all day. No outdoor trainers are allowed and women should bring heels.

Jekyll and Hyde will feature music by Grant Olding, and has been specially commissioned by the Old Vic as part of its collaboration with The McOnie company.
