The production of Harvey starring James Dreyfus and Maureen Lipman has confirmed a limited West End run, opening at Theatre Royal Haymarket on 17 March 2015.

Lindsay Posner's version of Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy first opens at Birmingham REP in February before a short UK tour.

The play tells the story of Elwood P. Dowd, played by Dreyfus, who has an unwavering friendship with a six-foot tall, invisible rabbit named Harvey.

The rest of the cast comprises David Bamber as William R. Chumley, Desmond Barrit as Judge Omar Gaffney, Felicity Dean as Betty Chumley, Ingrid Oliver as Myrtle Mae Simmons, Amanda Boxer as Miss Ethel Chauvenet, Sally Scott as Nurse Ruth Kelly, Youssef Kerkour as Duane Wilson, Jack Hawkins as Lyman Sanderson and Linal Haft as E J Lofgren.

Harvey will have a gala night in the West End on 23 March, and features design by Peter McKintosh, with lighting by Howard Harrison and sound by Paul Groothuis.
