Casting announced for How The Other Half Loves

Alan Strachan directs the revival of Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy at the Haymarket

Casting has been announced for the revival of Alan Ayckbourn's comedy How the Other Half Loves which opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in March 2016.

Olivier Award-nominated actor Nicholas Le Prevost will play Frank Foster with Jenny Seagrove (Absurd Person Singular, Judge John Deed) as Fiona Foster, Twelve Angry Men and Waterloo Road actor Jason Merrells as Bob Phillips and Tamzin Outhwaite (EastEnders, Sweet Charity) as Teresa Phillips.

The cast will be completed by Matthew Cottle (A Small Family Business) as William Featherstone and Gillian Wright (EastEnders) as Mary Featherstone.

Ayckbourn's farcical play of matrimonial mishaps is considered to be one of his most famous comedies and returns to the West End after originally opening in 1970. It will be directed by Alan Strachan.

How the Other Half Loves runs at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 31 March to 25 June.
