Rehearsal images: Jenna Russell and Sheila Hancock prepare for Grey Gardens
Images have been released offering a first look at Jenna Russell, Sheila Hancock and the cast of Grey Gardens in rehearsal.
The European premiere of Grey Gardens features Russell and Hancock alongside Aaron Sidwell, Billy Boyle, Jeremy Legat, Ako Mitchell and Rachel Anne Rayham.
The musical is a stage adaptation of the cult documentary film by Albert and David Maysles. It focuses on mother and daughter Edie and Edie Bouvier Beale, who live in a crumbling mansion on Long Island overrun by cats.
The show will be directed by Thom Southerland, choreographed by Lee Proud and produced by Danielle Tarento. The team behind the show were responsible for recent hits Titanic and Grand Hotel.
Grey Gardens runs at Southwark Playhouse from 7 January to 6 February.
