Full casting has been announced for the upcoming 28-venue tour of Godspell In Concert.

As previously announced, the cast will be led by Andy Abraham, reprising his performance from last year's West End concert, alongside Jade Ewen, Leanne Jarvis and Tom Senior.

Joining them are Jennifer Potts (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Annie) and Jason Broderick (Anna Nicole the Opera), who also appeared in the charity performance.

They will be joined by Robert Hannouch, Dominique Planter, Mitch Miller and Maeve Byrne, with the ensemble completed by Rachel Bingham, Laura Mansell, Steffan Lloyd-Evans and Ricky Johnston.

Musical director Russell Scott said: "The cast has been hand-picked and offers a diversity of performance styles which will culminate in what promises to be an electrifying production."

A modern-day song-and-dance recreation of St Matthew's gospel, Godspell begins with John the Baptist gathering up followers and concludes with Jesus' crucifixion in a junkyard. Written by Stephen Schwartz, it features a book by John-Michael Tebelak.

Godspell in Concert opens at Hackney Empire on 4 and 5 April 2015, before visiting venues in Guildford, Southampton, Llandudno, Cardiff, Swansea, Reading, Brighton, Southsea, Gateshead, Sunderland, Torquay, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Ipswich, Manchester, Darlington, Grimsby, Dartford, Birmingham, Oxford, Hastings, Hull, Bradford, Glasgow, Woking, Watford, Blackpool, Wycombe and Northampton.
