Girl from the North Country, which had its world premiere at the Old Vic in London, will run on Broadway in 2020.

Following its productions at the south London venue, in the West End and at New York's Public Theater, the show will open in previews at the Belasco Theatre on Broadway on 7 February 2020 with an opening night on 5 March 2020.

Featuring the music of Bob Dylan, Conor McPherson's piece is set in a guesthouse in the heart of America where a group of strangers meet.

The show received a five star review from WhatsOnStage when it opened in the West End, with Ben Hewis saying that "a wide-ranging selection of Dylan's songs from across his remarkable career punctuates the piece with a poetic poignancy."

Girl from the North Country will feature scenic and costume design by Rae Smith, lighting design by Mark Henderson, sound design by Simon Baker, orchestrations, arrangements, and music supervision by Simon Hale, with additional arrangements by Hale and McPherson and movement direction by Lucy Hind.

The piece was nominated for two WhatsOnStage Awards and won two Olivier Awards in 2018, with a West End cast album also released.
