Further casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Rosmersholm in the West End.

Joining the previously announced Tom Burke and Hayley Atwell will be Olivier Award-winner Giles Terera (Hamilton), Peter Wight (The Birthday Party), Jake Fairbrother (Lady from the Sea) and Lucy Briers (Wolf Hall).

You can see the cast in rehearsals below:

Burke, who recently appeared in the touring production of Don Carlos, will play Rosmer, a man haunted by history and living in a grand house owned by a powerful family. Atwell, whose credits include Measure for Measure at Donmar Warehouse and Dry Powder at Hampstead Theatre, will play Rebecca, considered one of Ibsen's feminist heroines. The piece sees Rebecca try to undermine Rosmer's idealism and get him to understand a more free-thinking way of life on the eve of a major election.

Directed by Ian Rickson (The Birthday Party), the piece is adapted from Ibsen's original by Duncan Macmillan (People, Places and Things) with set and costumes by Rae Smith, lighting by Neil Austin, music by Stephen Warbeck, sound by Gregory Clarke and casting by Amy Ball.

The play runs from 24 April to 20 July.
