First look at Evanna Lynch in Disco Pigs

Enda Walsh’s play celebrates its 20th anniversary at Trafalgar Studios

Production images have been released for the 20th anniversary production of Enda Walsh's Disco Pigs, ahead of its opening night this evening at Trafalgar Studios. Evanna Lynch, known for her role as Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series, is joined by Colin Campbell (Dublin by Lamplight, Through A Glass Darkly) in the two-hander.

Directed by John Haidar and designed by Richard Kent, the show examines the tight yet unhealthy friendship between two teens, Pig and Runt, born on the same day at the same time in the same hospital.

When it first debuted in 1997 (starring Cillian Murphy and Eileen Walsh), the show won the annual George Devine award. In 2001 it was adapted into a film directed by Kirsten Sheridan.

Lynch was last seen on stage in the touring production of Houdini, where she starred as the titular magician's wife Bess Houdini.
