Exclusive: First listen to Simon Bailey and Niamh Perry in Whisper House

Duncan Sheik’s musical opens at The Other Palace in April

WhatsOnStage have been given an exclusive first listen to one of the songs from Duncan Sheik's upcoming musical, Whisper House.

Simon Bailey and Niamh Perry – accompanied by Sheik on guitar and Daniel A Weiss on keys – perform "And Now We Sing" from the musical, which is set in 1942 in World War II, and tells the story of Christopher who is sent to live with an aunt he has never met on the east coast of America.

Directed by Adam Lenson, Bailey and Perry are joined in the cast by Nicholas Goh, Simon Lipkin and Dianne Pilkington.

Sheik's previous credits include the musical adaptations of American Psycho and Spring Awakening.

Whisper House runs at The Other Palace from 18 April to 27 May, with previews from 6 April.
