Cast announced for Fashion Victim – The Musical!

The site-specific show opens at The Cinema Museum in south London from 23 June

Casting has been announced for Fashion Victim – The Musical!, being staged in a "specially created catwalk arena" inside The Cinema Museum in south London from 23 June to 6 July 2014 (previews from 21 June).

Joining the previously announced model and actor Arron Blake, who is playing the central role of trust fund toff Tarquin Brockhutch, are: Carl Mullaney as stylist Jake Spangle, Rosie Glossop as social climber Mimi Steel, James Wilkinson as Frenchman Cedric Chevalier, Aimee Barrett as Chloe Bogarde and model Camilla Rutherford, who will make a "fabulous cameo".

The dancers are Matt Walker, Charlotte Scally and Mercedes Bailey.

Launched in 2013 as a pop-up theatre event to coincide with London Fashion Week, Fashion Victim – The Musical! is written by Toby Rose, whose previous credits include Discotivity starring Michelle McManus.

The director is Robert McWhir, artistic director of the Landor Theatre, whose recent acclaimed shows include I Love You Because, Curtains and Ragtime.

Choreographer Ryan Jenkins (So You Think You Can Dance), songwriter Cayelan Mendoza, MD Michael Webborn, costume designer Deborah Andrew and lighting designer Richard Lambert complete the creative team.
