Aladdin and The Lion King will open a new summer pop-up in Covent Garden for fans of Disney and the musicals.

The pop-up will be open on 25 Long Acre every day from 31 July to 26 August and will offer interactive experiences and special events. The space will offer visitors the chance to see up close the masks, puppets and costumes from The Lion King, while a special Cave of Wonders will also be created.

As well as the pop-up, there will be a treasure hunt around Covent Garden's Piazza to uncover four magic lamps, each of which offer a clue to an Aladdin-themed puzzle. The people who unscramble the message will win a limited edition poster.

There will be a variety of free events daily within the pop-up, including performances from cast members of the West End shows, puppetry demonstrations and stage make up masterclasses. Access to events is available on a first come, first-served basis. The full schedule can be seen here.

This year marks the second anniversary of Aladdin in the West End, while The Lion King has been running for 19 years.
