Damian Lewis to return to the West End in The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?

Homeland star Damian Lewis is to return to the London stage in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?, opening a the Theatre Royal Haymarket in March 2017.
Directed by Ian Rickson (Jerusalem, Mojo), The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? won the Tony Award for Best New Play when it premiered on Broadway in 2002, starring Bill Pullman.
Last seen in the West End alongside John Goodman in David Mamet's American Buffalo last year, Lewis is best known for his roles on screen including Homeland and Wolf Hall.
Albee’s The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?, is a dark comedy about the collapse of familial relationships, via the story of a couple and their teenage son in crisis when the father falls in love with a goat.
Best known for plays including Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf?, which will also be revived next year starring Imelda Staunton, Albee passed away last month at the age of 88.
The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 5 April 2017, with previews from 24 March 2017.
