Final casting announced for Cinderella at the London Palladium

”Funny Girl” star Natasha Barnes will play the titular role

Natasha Barnes will play the title role of Cinderella in the upcoming pantomime at the London Palladium, the first at the venue in 29 years.

Barnes' credits include Spring Awakening, American Idiot and Lend Me a Tenor. She hit the headlines earlier this year when she took over from Sheridan Smith in the West End production of Funny Girl. You can read our recent interview with Natasha here.

Also announced today are Suzie Chard (Soho Cinders) and Wendy Somerville (The Threepenny Opera) who will play The Wicked Stepsisters.

With direction by Michael Harrison and choreography by Andrew Wright, the complete cast also includes the previously announced Paul O’Grady (The Wicked Stepmother), Julian Clary (Dandini), Amanda Holden (The Fairy Godmother), Lee Mead (Prince Charming), Paul Zerdin (Buttons), Nigel Havers (Lord Chamberlain) and Count Arthur Strong (Baron Hardup).
