Casting announced for Darknet at Southwark Playhouse

Rose Lewenstein’s play has its world premiere next month

Casting has been announced for the world première of Rose Lewenstein's Darknet, which opens at Southwark Playhouse next month.

Russell Bender directs Robin Berry (One Man, Two Guvnors, National Theatre), Greer Dale-Foulkes (The Playboy of the Western World, Southwark Playhouse), Jim English (Hurling Rubble At The Moon, Park), Naveed Khan (Pitcairn, Globe), Ella McLoughlin (Herons, Lyric Hammersmith), Gyuri Sarossy (The Absence of War, Headlong) and Rosie Thomson (Yes Prime Minister, West End).

The play, about an internet company that sells personal data, examines data transparency, the deep web and information that we share online, and has been developed with input from specialists working in technology, cybersecurity and online behaviour.

Darknet runs at Southwark Playhouse from 18 April – 7 May 2016.
