Casting announced for [title of show] at Landor

Casting has been announced for the forthcoming London premiere of Broadway musical [title of show] which, as previously announced, will play at the Landor Theatre from 12 August to 14 September 2013 (previews from 7 August).

The four-strong cast will feature Simon Bailey as Jeff, Scott Garnham as Hunter, Sarah Galbraith as Susan and Sophia Ragavelas as Heidi.

[title of show] is a one act musical following its own creation, and the real life story of the writers’ journey to seeing their musical produced.

First produced by the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2004, [title of show] ran Off-Broadway in 2006 before opening on Broadway in 2008, receiving a Tony Award nomination for Best Book of a Musical.

Simon Bailey was recently seen as Raoul in Cameron Mackintosh’s new touring production of The Phantom of the Opera. West End credits include Passion at the Donmar Warehouse, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, We Will Rock You and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is also a founding member of pop group Teatro.

Scott Garnham most recently appeared as Mr Lindquist in A Little Night Music – in Concert at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Other theatre credits include Les Misérables and UK touring productions of Eurobeat and Never Forget.

Originally from the USA, Sarah Galbraith has performed in all three US productions of The Phantom of the Opera. London credits include Chess and Steel Pier at the Union Theatre and The Night of 1000 Voices at the Royal Albert Hall.

Sophia Ragavelas was recently seen in 20th Century Boy at the Coventry Belgrade Theatre. Her many West End credits include Never Forget, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia! and The Lion King.

[title of show] is written by Hunter Bell, with music and lyrics by Jeff Bowen. It is directed by Robert McWhir with musical direction by Michael Webborn.
