The full cast joining Sharon D Clarke in Caroline, or Change has been announced.

Returning to the show with Clarke after performing in the production's run in Chichester Festival Theatre last year are Me’Sha Bryan, Ako Mitchell, Lauren Ward, Angela Caesar, Teddy Kempner, Abiona Omonua and Vincent Pirillo.

Newly cast in the production is Naana Agyei-Ampadu, Alastair Brookshaw, Sue Kelvin, Carole Stennett, Sharon Rose, T’Shan Williams.

The Olivier Award-winning musical is directed by Michael Longhurst (Amadeus). Set in 1963 Louisiana, the piece has a book and lyrics by Tony Kushner (Angels in America) and music by Jeanine Tesori. It follows the titular Caroline, a black maid in a white family's household.

In his review of the show's Chichester run, critic Matt Trueman described the piece as a "remarkable, unblinking chamber musical".

Hampstead Theatre has also announced the cast for the upcoming Hampstead Downstairs production of Amy Ng's Acceptance. Teresa Banham, Debbie Korley, Jennifer Leong and Bo Poraj will lead the production, with direction by Anna Ledwich (Dry Powder).

Caroline, Or Change runs at Hampstead Theatre from 19 March to 21 April, with previews from 12 March. Acceptance runs at Hampstead Theatre from 14 March to 7 April, with previews from 2 March.
