Past and current stars came together on the weekend to celebrate the 20th birthday of Mamma Mia!.

ABBA band members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson joined producer Judy Craymer, director Phyllida Lloyd and writer Catherine Johnson to mark the occasion.

Past cast members came together too alongside the current Dynamos Kate Graham (Tanya), Sara Poyzer (Donna Sheridan) and Ricky Butt (Rosie) during the curtain call.

Last month the show announced a West End extension, with tickets going on sale on Wednesday 4 April. A daily ticket lottery will also be running throughout April.

Mamma Mia! originally opened at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6 April 1999 and transferred to the Prince of Wales in 2004. It opened at the Novello Theatre in 2012.

With music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, the musical is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast.

The production is designed by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken, and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.
