We went down to the launch of Big the Musical to chat to some of the cast and find out what they would do if the premise of the story was flipped on its head, and they could become small again.

The stage adaptation of the 1988 film which starred Tom Hanks will transfer to the Dominion Theatre from 6 September to 2 November and features a cast including Jay McGuiness, Kimberley Walsh, Matthew Kelly and Wendi Peters.

The Wanted star McGuiness plays Josh Baskin, a 12 year-old boy who wants to be big. When he finds himself trapped in an adult's body, he has to live as a grown-up.

David Shire, Richard Maltby and John Weidman's musical has direction and choreography from Morgan Young, orchestrations and musical supervision by Stuart Morley, set and costume design by Simon Higlett, lighting design by Tim Lutkin, video design by Ian William Galloway, and sound design by Terry Jardine and Avgoustos Psillas.

Wig and hair design is from Richard Mawbey, musical direction is from Jeremy Wootton, illusions are by Chris Fisher and casting is from Natalie Gallacher CDG for Pippa Ailion Casting and Sarah Bird CDG.
