Adelle Leonce and Naomi Wirthner will join Ben Whishaw in Christopher Shinn's new play, Against, which opens at the Almeida in August.

Directed by Ian Rickson, the play takes place in Silicon Valley and follows Luke (Whishaw), an aerospace billionaire who sets out to change the world.

Leonce's theatre credits include Torn (Royal Court), Tipping the Velvet (Lyric Hammersmith) and Light Shining in Buckinghamshire (National Theatre). Her work on TV includes Black Mirror, Shameless and Vera.

Whishaw returns to the Almeida following his critically acclaimed performance in Bakkhai in 2015. His other theatre credits include West End productions of Mojo and Peter and Alice, and Hamlet at the Old Vic. His film work includes playing Q in the James Bond films Spectre and Skyfall.

Against runs at the Almeida from 23 August to 30 September, with previews from 12 August.
