The production, which has played since May 2002, will continue to star Oliver Tompsett (Galileo), Rachel Wooding (Scaramouche), Brenda Edwards (Killer Queen), Kevin Kennedy (Pop) and Alasdair Harvey (Khashoggi).

The show welcomes in a new ‘Meat’ and ‘Britney’ from 7 October, with Amanda Coutts making a return to the show and Rolan Bell joining the West End cast after playing ‘Britney’ in the international Arena tour of the show.

Coutts first joined the cast in 2007 as a Scaramouche and Meat cover, later taking over the role of Meat and regularly playing Scaramouche. She then played the lead role of Scaramouche in the UK touring production, and now returns to the Dominion to reprise the role of Meat. Her other touring and West End credits include Fame, Footloose, and West Side Story.

Rolan Bell’s credits include Ragtime and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Carmen Jones at The Royal Festival Hall, and the Theatre Royal Stratford East production The Harder They Come for which he was nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Newcomer award.

Rehearsals for the new company start on 2 September 2013.

The North American production of We Will Rock You opens its national tour in Baltimore, MD, at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center on 15 October 2013, thereafter scheduled to reach 25 further cities.
