Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch on Red in the West End: 'It feels like unfinished business'

John Logan's Red returns to London this month with its West End premiere at Wyndham's Theatre. Again directed by Michael Grandage (who directed the original 2009 Donmar Warehouse production, which went on to play on Broadway, where it was nominated for seven Tony Awards, winning six), the show stars Alfred Molina as Mark Rothko (a part he originally played when the show first opened), alongside Alfred Enoch, who joins the show for its West End run.

Based over two years, Red sees Rothko (Molina) and his assistant Ken (Enoch) creating a series of murals for the Four Seasons restaurant. We sit down with the two actors and their director to see why its return is so important.
