The piece will be directed by by Jermyn Street Theatre artistic director Anthony Biggs.

In November two plays by August Strindberg will be staged in a double bill called Strindberg's Women (1 to 26 November). The two plays, Storm and Stronger, are inspired by two of Strindberg's wives Siri Von Essen and Harriet Bosse.

A new adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice from Joannah Tincey will be directed by Abigail Anderson (29 November to 21 December).

The theatre also announces a new associate director. Tom Littler arrives at the theatre from Theatre503 and his previous works at Jermyn Street include Bloddy Poetry and The Living Room.

Biggs said: "I am immensely proud that we uphold the fine reputation the theatre has built up by presenting such a strong programme of work. We are also very pleased to welcome Tom Littler, who, as Associate Director, will bring his own vigour, enthusiasm and talent to add to the strength of the team and creative output of the theatre."
