The Old Vic production of Yasmina Reza's Art will embark on a new UK tour in 2019.

Based on Matthew Warchus' Old Vic production which ran in December 2016 with Tim Key, Rufus Sewell and Paul Ritter, the show toured in 2018 and will now return for 2019. The Olivier, Tony and Moliere award-winning comedy will star Nigel Havers, Stephen Tompkinson and Denis Lawson, who all appeared in last year's tour.

Produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers, the tour will be directed by Ellie Jones, with design from Mark Thompson, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound design by Mic Pool, original music by Gary Yershon, fight direction by Terry King and casting by Sarah Bird

The play first premiered in the UK in the West End in 1996, a run which was also produced by Pugh and Rogers. The plot revolves around three friends, one of whom buys a very expensive painting which is entirely white.

The tour will open in Chichcester on 24 January before visiting Oxford, Edinburgh, Guildford, Malvern, Richmond, Cheltenham, Severn and Aberdeen.
