Full casting has been revealed for Chichester Festival Theatre's upcoming revival of William Nicholson's award-winning play Shadowlands.

Joining the previously announced Hugh Bonneville in the play will be Liz White (Ackley Bridge, Road), alongside Sally Cheng, Giles Coram, Emilio Doorgasingh, Lauren Hall, Andrew Havill, Beruce Khan and Timothy Watson, with Ruari Finnegan and Eddie Martin sharing the role of Douglas.

Bonneville plays the Chronicles of Narnia writer C S Lewis in the piece, which explores the novelist's relationship with New York poet Joy Gresham (White). Nicholson's play first premiered in 1989, winning the Evening Standard Award for Best Play and going on to be nominated for a Tony Award. It was adapted into a film in 1993.

The revival is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh (Half a Sixpence), with design by Peter McKintosh, lighting by Howard Harrison, music by Catherine Jayes and sound by Fergus O'Hare.
