Hugh Bonneville in Shadowlands at Chichester Festival Theatre first look

Images have been released offering a first look at Shadowlands at Chichester Festival Theatre.

Hugh Bonneville stars alongside Liz White in the play, which is about the relationship between CS Lewis and Joy Gresham, a New York poet with whom he corresponds.

William Nicholson's play is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh and also stars Sally Cheng, Giles Coram, Emilio Doorgasingh, Lauren Hall, Andrew Havill, Beruce Khan and Timothy Watson, with Ruari Finnegan and Eddie Martin sharing the role of Joy Gresham's young son.


The show has designs from Peter McKintosh, with lighting by Howard Harrison, music by Catherine Jayes and sound by Fergus O'Hare.
