First look at Omid Djalili and cast of Fiddler on the Roof

Images have been released offering a first look at Omid Djalili, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Emma Kingston and the cast of Fiddler on the Roof, which opens at Chichester Festival Theatre next week.

Daniel Evans directs the show which also features Chris Jarman, Liza Sadovy, Louis Maskell, Laura Tebbutt, Jos Slovick, Simbi Akande and Rose Shalloo.

Based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem, the musical has a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.

The original New York production was directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins in 1964, and won nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Composer and Lyricist (Bock and Harnick).

Completing the cast are Ryan Anderson, Leo Andrew, Andrew Boyer, Greg Castiglioni, Stephen John Davis, Nicholas Duncan, Luke Fetherston, Rosie Fletcher, Harry Francis, Victoria Hinde, Abigail Jaye, Lucinda Lawrence, Megan O'Hanlon, Sephora Parish, Pierce Rogan, and Matthew Woodyatt.

Fiddler on the Roof runs at Chichester Festival Theatre until 26 August.
