Actor, comedian and recent Whatsonstage.com Awards host Rufus Hound will star in a revival of Tim Firth’s comedy Neville’s Island at Chichester in September.

Hound, who is currently playing Francis Henshall in the West End run of One Man, Two Guvnors, will play Roy, a middle manager sent on a doomed team building exercise in the Lake District.

Neville’s Island will be the second production staged in the temporary Theatre in the Park venue, established to house productions while the main Festival Theatre undergoes redevelopment work.

The production, which runs from 20 September (previews from 11 September) to 28 September, is directed by Angus Jackson, whose recent credits include the Olivier Award-winning Chichester production of Goodnight Mister Tom.

As well as One Man, Two Guvnors, [Rufus Hound]’s recent acting credits include Utopia (Soho Theatre) and British film comedy The Wedding Video, which was also written by Tim Firth.
