Rocky Horror Show UK tour announces celebrity Narrator casting

Celebrities from across the country will take on the role of the narrator

Further casting has been announced for the Rocky Horror Show UK tour, which kicks off in December.

Different celebrities will play the role of The Narrator across the UK in Richard O'Brien's legendary musical, which opened in 1973 at the Royal Court.

Comedian Dom Joly, Coronation Street's Beverley Callard, presenter Alison Hammond, The Now Show's Steve Punt and The Rocky Horror Show regular Philip Franks will play the role of the Narrator at various points throughout the tour, with further casting to be announced.

The production is directed by Christopher Luscombe and features songs including "Sweet Transvestite", "Science Fiction/Double Feature", "Dammit Janet" and "The Time-Warp".

The tour begins at Theatre Royal Brighton from 12 December and then tours to venues including King's Theatre in Glasgow, Churchill Theatre in Bromley, New Wimbledon Theatre, Opera House in Manchester and Liverpool Empire.
