Coleen Nolan in Liverpool Empire Panto, Cinderella

First Family Entertainment and the Liverpool Empire are welcoming Coleen Nolan to the venue for the festive season when Cinderella is staged there. The Nolan sister, former Loose Woman and current Hub presenter on ITV’s This Morning is thrilled to be treading the boards in Liverpool.

She said: “The Liverpool Empire is one of the best and most
prestigious venues in the country and I can’t wait to play the Fairy
Godmother there. First Family Entertainment is renowned for their
incredibly lavish productions and Cinderella will be the perfect way to
celebrate the festive season.”

Liverpool’s very own Cinderella, former Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon, is returning to her native city to play the lead role. Of course, Cinderella wouldn’t be the same without those Ugly Sisters so, donning the frocks and the lippy are Radio City’s Pete Price and local actress Pauline Daniels and many performances will get an extra festive treat when Tayleur & Elliot, local dance finalists from the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance, will make a special appearance. Dates will be confirmed soon!

Featuring all the traditional panto fun – oh yes it will – with real Shetland ponies, a carriage load of laughs and magic for all ages.

Andrew Rawlinson (General Manager, Empire Theatre) said: “We are absolutely thrilled that pantomime is returning to the Empire. The people of Liverpool wanted a number one panto in their number one theatre and that’s what we’ve done. They wanted a high quality show at good affordable prices, and again we listened. The Empire is renowned for bringing the very best in entertainment to this culturally vibrant city, and Cinderella will be no exception. Only the very best for the very best.”

Cinderella runs at the Liverpool Empire from 14 December 2012 – 6 January 2013.
