Buddy Back in Liverpool

Buddy – is coming
back to the region this month. The show was recently at the Palace Theatre and New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion and is bound to pack audiences in again.

The show follows Buddy
Holly’s story, from his meteoric rise to fame, to his final legendary
performance at The Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. Together they
present two terrific hours of his greatest hits, including the timeless
classics “That’ll Be The Day”, “Peggy Sue”, “Oh Boy”, “Rave On”,
“Everyday” and many more.

Buddy also features the Big Bopper’s “Chantilly Lace” and Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba.”

The hit musical is co-written by Alan Janes (who also produces) and Rob Bettinson (who also directs). In London, Buddy has had three West End homes, The Duchess, The Victoria Palace and The Strand (now The Novello).

This touring production arrives at the Liverpool Empire from 28 November – 3 December.
