Actress Collins in charity skydive for Rhys Jones

Wirral-born actress Suzanne Collins is participating in a skydive this Friday and needs Whatsonstage.com readers support.
Her daring jump is to help raise funds for The Rhys Jones Memorial Fund and for BBC’s Children In Need.

It’s easy to donate online with a credit or debit card by visiting her JustGiving page. She says: “As a mother and a lunatic I ask you to dig deep and give generously. I know everyone does their bit for charities but I’m throwing myself from the sky, so please help, any amount, I will be eternally grateful for.”

The actress, who is the co-founder of High Horizons with Ann Marie Davies (One Night In Istanbul), is currently appearing in Drew Quayle’s The Salon at Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre until Saturday 28 November.

Teenager Sean Mercer was convicted in December last year of shooting and killing eleven-year-old Rhys Jones on 22 August 2007 in Croxteth, Liverpool.

BBC’s Children In Need will take place on Friday 20 November this year.
