Full cast announced for One Love: The Bob Marley Musical

The full cast has been announced for the Birmingham Rep production of One Love: The Bob Marley Musical.
Alexia Khadime will play Rita Marley in Kwame Kwei-Armah's musical alongside Mitchell Brunings who will make his UK stage debut as Bob Marley.
Eric Kofi Abrefa will play Bob's closest friend Pablo, Cat Simmons will play Cindy Breakspeare, Newtion Matthews will play Bunny Wailer alongside Jacade Simpson as Peter Tosh. Adrian Irvine plays Jamaican Prime Minister Michael Manley, Simeon Truby plays Edward Seaga, Ricardo Coke-Thomas plays Tony Welsh and Thomas Vernal will play Claudie Massop.
Elsewhere in the cast, Delroy Brown will play Don Taylor, Alex Robertson plays Chris Blackwell, Natey Jones plays Don Letts, Maria Omakinwa plays Judy Mowatt, Shyko Amos plays Marcia Griffiths.
The ensemble will star Taofique Folarin, Martina Isibor, Melissa James, Lemuel Knights, Tanisha Spring, Ellena Vincent and Marcquelle Ward.
One Love: The Bob Marley Musical is written, directed and produced by Kwei-Armah and tells the story of Marley's rise from reggae star to global icon. The musical will feature songs by Marley including "No Woman No Cry", "Exodus", "Jamming".
One Love: The Bob Marley Musical opens at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre 10 March and runs to 8 April.
