Super Stephen.

I Went to 2 previews and the opening night "phew". Alex Hanson was superb as both a narrator and the leading role,he was fasinating and rarely off-stage,if he doesn't win an Olivier award then i'll eat my socks (haven't got an hat) his stage presence was one to remember, the two Charlotte's have a great future ahead of them as they put everything into their roles, the whole cast was excellent,Anthony Calf and Joanna Riding showed their experience although Jo was not used enough. Two numbers stood out to me,This side of the sky and I'm hopeless when it comes to you,I know some critics have been harsh (the metro one especially did they go to a differant show?) I must admit that i'm very biased toward Sir Andrew as i've seen all his shows and he without doubt my No 1 composer,as for the show's West End run well to be honest the restricted adult audiences could be it's downfall, even so if you are one who loves a 'Scandel' then Go See.I can predict the Aldwych Theatre having another production by next Christmas,Sorry Andrew.
